Priorities

Your identity stays sealed. Operators bid on the trip, not on you. We release your name only after you award the flight.

The problem

Your name is priced in

Ask around this industry and nobody will tell you that identity affects price, because saying it out loud is awkward. Watch how quotes move and it is obvious.

An operator who recognises the name attached to a request has information. They know whether the client negotiated last time. They know what the client accepted. They can infer, from the route and the date and the aircraft requested, roughly how much the trip matters. All of that is useful, and none of it is useful to you.

What we withhold, precisely

Until you award a flight, no operator receives your name, your company, your email address, your telephone number, or the address a car is collecting you from. They receive a departure field, an arrival field, a date window, a passenger count and any cabin requirement that changes which aircraft they should offer.

That is enough to price a flight accurately. It is not enough to price a person.

What happens on award

When you pick a bid, the winning operator receives what the flight legally requires: the passenger manifest for the crew brief and the manifest filing, and your contact details so the crew can reach you. Nothing more, unless you choose to share it.

Every operator who did not win the bid learns nothing. They do not find out who was flying, whether the trip happened, or what the winning number was.

Our own handling

We do not sell client data. We do not run retargeting pixels that follow you around the internet after you visit a route page. We do not require an account to see a price, which means for most visitors we hold nothing at all.

The full detail of what we collect and how long we keep it is in the privacy policy, written to be read rather than to be survived.

The commercial argument

This is not altruism. A sealed bid produces better prices, and better prices bring clients back. The privacy is the mechanism that makes the auction work, and the auction is the product.
