Our commitment

Private Jet Charters is committed to making this website usable by everyone, including people who use screen readers, keyboard only navigation, magnification, or who need reduced motion or higher contrast. We treat accessibility as part of the build rather than as a retrofit.

We work to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines version 2.2 at Level AA, and we design to meet the expectations of the Americans with Disabilities Act and, where applicable, the European Accessibility Act.

What is built into every page

An accessibility panel reachable from the control at the bottom right of every page. It offers three levels of text enlargement, a high contrast mode, link highlighting, a dyslexia friendly typeface, increased text and word spacing, an enlarged cursor, and a control that stops all animation. Your choices are saved in your own browser and persist across pages and visits.

Keyboard support. Every interactive element is reachable and operable by keyboard, with a visible focus indicator. A skip to content link is the first focusable item on the page. The menus, the accessibility panel and the mobile navigation all close with the Escape key.

Semantic structure. Headings follow a logical order without skipped levels. Landmarks, lists and tables use native elements with proper scope and captions. Form controls have associated labels. Menus and comboboxes carry the appropriate ARIA states.

Text alternatives. Every meaningful image has alt text that describes what is actually visible. Decorative graphics are hidden from assistive technology. The route charts carry a text description of the origin, destination, distance and heading.

Reduced motion. The site honours the operating system reduced motion preference automatically, and the accessibility panel provides a manual override.

Contrast and scaling. Text is designed to meet or exceed the contrast ratios required at Level AA. Layouts reflow to 320 pixels without horizontal scrolling and support browser zoom to 400 percent.

Language access

A translation control in the header offers the site in twenty languages. Machine translation is not a substitute for professionally translated content and may render some technical aviation terms imprecisely. If a translated page is unclear, contact us and we will answer in your language.

Known limitations

Machine translated pages are not reviewed by a human translator and may contain errors, particularly in aviation terminology.

The optional interactive map is provided by a third party. Where its accessibility falls short, the same information is available in the static chart description and in the data tables on the same page, and the map never has to be loaded.

Some data tables are wide by nature. They scroll horizontally inside their own container so the page itself never scrolls sideways, and the same information is available in the surrounding text.

Accessible travel

Accessibility does not stop at the website. Private terminals are generally far easier to move through than commercial ones, with short distances, no queues and vehicle access close to the aircraft. Aircraft themselves vary considerably: door height, air stair design, cabin width and lavatory access differ between types, and boarding assistance options differ between operators.

Tell us what you need when you request a quote and we will source specifically against it, including step free boarding arrangements, wheelchair stowage, oxygen carriage, service animals and travelling with a carer. It is far easier to solve at quote stage than on the ramp.

Reporting a barrier

If you encounter something on this site you cannot use, please tell us through the contact page. Describe the page and what happened, and include the assistive technology and browser you were using if you know them. We aim to acknowledge within two business days and to fix confirmed barriers promptly.
